The Intrepid Travellers

These are your intrepid travellers standing next to their bikes before setting out on their latest adventure. Tim, standing next to his 2009 Teal and Cream Harley Davidson Electraglide Ultra Classic and John, next to his new 2015 Black Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Limited. Soon, they will be heading out to Albuquerque, New Mexico from their homes in Ottumwa, Iowa. This will be an "Ironbutt" ride which means that they will need to travel 1,000 miles within 24 hours. Fortunately, Albuquerque happens to be a little more than 1,000 miles from Ottumwa, so that kinda works out well. Witnesses will need to attest as to the departure location and eventually the destination location and specific records will need to be kept along the way. The "plan" is to complete the Ironbutt ride, spend a couple of days in Albuquerque recuperating our backsides, and then returning at a more leisurely pace. The International Balloon Festival should be getting underway shortly after our arrival, and I am hoping to get some nice pics while that is going on.
